The Fields of Lupine Festival, now in its 24th year, is scheduled for June 1-30, 2018. Every nature and flower lover must see this, at least once.
In June, folks from far and near will flock to the Fields of Lupine Festival in Sugar Hill, New Hampshire. They come to admire, photograph, and walk through this amazingly brilliant field of lupines – literally thousands of lupines. It’s a rolling sea of vibrant purples, pinks, blues and whites. Just follow the paths carved through the fields. Take time to read the inspirational messages on the wooden signs along the trail. As a bonus, lupines attract equally dazzling butterflies, creating a magnificent floral display against the majestic backdrop of the Franconia, Presidential, and Kinsman Mountain ranges. You are guaranteed awesome photo opportunities.
The 2018 Fields of Lupine Festival offers special events throughout the month of June.
However, the BEST weekend to go to the Lupine Festival is June 2 & 3.
Enjoy the open-air market, free concert, artisan demonstrations, historic museum and inn tours. Take wagon rides through the lupine fields. Or better yet, take a helicopter ride over the fields. This is a terrific way to take aerial photos capturing the awe of the lupine fields. White Mountains Helicopter will be offering rides at the Lupine Festival on June 2 & 3. You’ll find parking behind the Meeting House.
Be sure to check daily and weekly schedule of events.
Stay at Rabbit Hill Inn for a well-deserved summer getaway this June and check out the breathtaking Fields of Lupines Festival. Some say it’s the “fall foliage” of summer! It’s less than 20 minutes from Rabbit Hill Inn.
